Heather Spencer Grim is a partner and owner of the company Spencer: Future Care Costs & Vocational Experts (Spencer Experts) and has been providing service to Personal Injury and Insurance Defence Lawyers and Law Firms, Insurance Companies – automobile, long term and short term disability claims and WSIB across the province of Ontario. Ms. Spencer Grim works full time as a Vocational Consultant and has done so since the spring of 2010.
Ms. Spencer Grim has a degree in Sociology from Western University (The University of Western Ontario) as well as a post-graduate diploma from Humber College. She has successfully completed all courses for the Canadian Certified Life Care Planning (CCLCP) designation from the University of Florida and is a candidate for the CCLCP Certification by the Commission on Health Care Certification (USA). She is a member in good standing with the Vocational Rehabilitation Association (Registration 5506) and is currently in the process of obtaining her Registered Rehabilitation Professional (RRP) designation. Ms. Spencer Grim has completed training through CAVEWAS (The Canadian Assessment, Vocational Evaluation and Work Adjustment Society) and is qualified to administer Vocational Evaluations and Assessments in order to determine successful vocational direction for individuals.
She is a member of the IARP (International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals) and has been since 2011 as well as being an active member of the Ontario Insurance Adjusters Association (London, ON Chapter). Ms. Spencer Grim currently sits as a member of the board for Brain Injury Services Hamilton (BISH), she is a former co-chair (two years) and currently an active member of the events committee for Spinal Cord Injury Ontario (formerly Canadian Paraplegic Association) and she has volunteered with the Helmet Safety Program through the Brain Injury Association in London, ON as well as a regular attendee and supporter of various non-profit organizations throughout Ontario.
